Senior Sales Representative

Summary:

The Commercial Director, VAR aligns the company’s services, products and value proposition by prospecting and conducting meaningful cold calls to senior IT executives within an assigned territory across a portfolio of assigned accounts in order to grow sales territory.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maximize personal sales revenue generation by creating and executing sales and service activity plans on a wide range of accounts, to achieve assigned individual sales targets.
  • Conduct cold calls and develop source lists through creative prospecting (i.e. LinkedIn and Google) to create new leads, as well as going through previous account lists purchased by Info-Tech) while maintaining accurate and up to date data in our CRM(Sales Force).
  • Manage and take ownership   of accounts. Develop dynamic   conversations with account stakeholders.   Ensure partners understand our products and are using them to their   full advantage.
  • Deliver high quality service to help drive renewal and future sales; build on member relationships to generate and contact new business leads.
  • Prepare for member interactions by collecting and consolidating background information on individuals and organizations as well as their relationship with Info-Tech Research Group.
  • Manage and respond to inbound requests from sales prospects.
  • Collaborate with the Research team to ensure practice-wide outreach initiatives resonate with members.
  • Complete scheduled and ad hoc data queries of our CRM (Salesforce); ensure the CRM contains accurate account details and contact information.

Education:

  • College degree
  • 2 years sales experience    
  • Proven track record of booking appointments with senior level executives/professionals preferred                      
  • Proven experience working with clients to offer value added and strategic insight into their organization preferred            
  • Previous experience in the IT sector an asset

  • Prospecting/Cold Calling – Able to generate leads/conduct cold calls to grow territory 
  •  Organizational Skills – Able to manage a calendar and appointment schedules
  •  Presentation – Able to present products and service to potential partners
  •  Active Listening – Able to identify client needs and determine solution match
  •  Objection Handling – Able to overcome objections to close a sale
  • Consultative Skills – Able to tailor conversations based on audience and client needs
