Department and Role Overview

The Sales Operations department is responsible for two key functions within the organization;

1) creating, advising and improving business process design through interaction with process stakeholders.

2) reporting, auditing, and tactically configuring internal systems including Salesforce.  

The Director, Business Process and Analysis maximizes the use of CRM, Salesforce and systems by advising and supporting Sales Operations and the wider business in the analysis, re- design and optimization of business process. The incumbent will be aligned with a specific business unit and be responsible for business process analysis, re-design, and optimization and will oversee technical projects, solution design and delivery and business processes that streamline, automate, and scale that business unit.

This is a high-visibility role, where you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of a product roadmap within the Sales Operations team, working with Senior Executives, subject matter experts, and end users to understand business needs and develop technical solutions to meet those needs. As such you must be people-focused, make strong and qualified decisions around process, have the ability to build rapport across internal stakeholders, and a have a proven track record of process design, management and implementation.  Finally, the candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic, innovative atmosphere with fast-paced and diverse project teams.

Education and Core Certifications: 

Must have:

  •  University degree, computer science or information systems.                          
  • Master’s degree in either of these fields or Master of Business Administration with technology would be considered an asset.                     
  • 7+ years in roles which support or lead Business Process Design, Re-Design, Optimization and Analysis.
  • Direct experience working with a CRM in a complex business environment.   


  • Experience leading and Agile team is an asset.
  • Salesforce Certifications are an asset.                    
  • Marketing automation experience is an asset (e.g. Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot).

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  •  has some prior experience with Business Analysis, Salesforce or Business Process Design and has the capacity to indirectly manage a team working with diverse end users and stakeholders.
  • is a passionate leader who can support a team and improve their ability to advise on and develop process design. Has seen success in coaching, guiding and developing junior reports or stakeholders.
  • has solid decision making skills and makes decisions that drive quality especially in reporting and configuration. Excels when accountable to stakeholders and can facilitate and resolve challenges with stakeholders and management.
  • has strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload in an agile environment.
