As a Commercial Director working with McLean & Company Acquire sales team, you will supports the growth of McLean & Company by generating new revenue through effective cold calling, appointment booking, making presentations and closing sales to 'C' level executives.




    • Research an assigned territory and vertical markets to understand issues impacting your territory.


    • Cold call HR professionals and build rapport that will create sales opportunities


    • Conduct sales presentations over the phone


    • Identify client issues and present relevant solutions from McLean & Company research


    • Negotiate deals by identifying decision makers and uncovering the reason to buy


    • Develop rapport with prospective customers very quickly through effective presentation of material


    • Communicate with prospective customers through various methods including phone and email; maintain a professional and energetic approach to all communication


    • Attend conferences/events as required and speak to prospects, identifying sales   opportunities and delivering the McLean & Company value proposition.


Education and Experience


  • Minimum 1 year of consultative sales experience. Phone and/or inside sales   experience preferred.

  • Experience selling to ‘C’ level executives preferred

  • Previous   experience selling research/consulting products & services is preferred

  • College Diploma, business focus an asset




  • Superior written and verbal communication Skills.

  • Presentation Skills

  • Sales Skills: Ability to identify a need, develop a rapport and sell a solution.

  • Self-motivated/driven

  • CRM System: Experience working with and maintaining a CRM system/database.
