Accounts Receivable Clerk

The Accounts Receivable clerk(s) will be joining a team of highly skilled, collaborative and enthusiastic Finance professionals. We’re looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, excellent problem solving and communication skills. You should be a self-starter, with efficient multi-tasking capabilities.


  • Contacting customers to secure timely payments
  • Researching and resolving delinquent customer issues using good customer service skills      
  • Entering, posting and reconciling payments
  • Completing vendor registrations
  • Preparing ageing reports
  • Assisting with special projects as required
  • Coaching sales staff to facilitate efficient payment collections 


  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy in data entry
  • Customer service orientated
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated; can work independently
  • Willingness to learn new projects as needed 


  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Certificate/Diploma in Accounting) is an asset, but not required
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong diplomatic, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform accounting functions
  • Capable decision-making skills & capacity for sound judgement
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • General administrative duty and office experience
