We are hiring for a Director, Digital Demand Generation to develop, implement, track, and optimize a digital marketing strategy that encompasses all digital lead acquisition channels. A wizard at web based lead generation the Director Digital Demand Generation will be able to create, manage, and optimize integrated inbound lead campaigns that include a tactical mix of activities and strategies.

The Director, Digital Demand Generation will have an expert grasp of the current SEO and paid digital media landscape, tools, strategies and best practices, and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to strategy to execution. The Director, Digital Demand Generation will collaborate with supporting teams (creative, development, research), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.

Role Scope/Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and iterate a paid media strategy and digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, email, and paid social advertising, designed to maintain a sustainable and growing source of leads for the sales organization
  • Increase lead volume to meet sales capacity demands while reducing cost per lead
  • Increase conversions and constantly improve ROI on digital marketing spend
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns; assess against goals
  • Analyze results and uncover insights that contribute to continuous improvement
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Establish and maintain strong communication channels with key stakeholders, updating and providing regular updates
  • Plan and implement a landing page testing and conversion rate optimization methodology
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

Education, Experience and Skills

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 7-10 years proven working experience leading and managing:
    • digital marketing teams/campaigns
    • SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
    • integrated marketing experiences, including creative development, copy writing
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and integration with leading marketing automation tools
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels; conversion rate optimization and A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Depth of experience with marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.
  • Functional knowledge of ad serving tools (ie DART, Atlas, DFP)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns, Google Ads Certification a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Agency experience considered an asset
